I am Débora Lamarca, a Barcelona-based artist with a background in Philosophy and Social and Cultural Anthropology from the University of Barcelona. I come from a family with a strong artistic tradition.

My pictorial practice unfolds along two lines. One is conceptual and minimalist, where I explore process, accident, and the energy of gesture. The other draws inspiration from primitive art, reinterpreting its ancestral essence through a contemporary language.

In 2026, I am collaborating with the Oslo-based gallery ArtRewards, where my work is part of their international selection. This year, I have participated in the London exhibition with Arrivàl Gallery and have been part of 100 Artists of Europe. Additionally, in March, my work is featured in ArtePoli magazine.
